{ 2 OR
MORE } 2 or More has always known they were meant to sing
together. Sarah
and Rebekah are sisters, and Brandee is a long-time family friend. They
all grew up in the same small city going to the same church,
each receiving training and leadership in music under Sarah and
Rebekah's father, who was their music minister. Learning
appreciation for varied styles and excellence in performance,
and being greatly influenced by harmony and many different aspects
of Christian music, they were eventually led to incorporate those
attributes into the songs they would write together, as well
as the ministry they would begin as a trio.
2 or More decided from the beginning that they wanted everyone
at their performances to be able to relate to at least one style
or song they sang. Their focus during their concerts is personal
worship, so that God can use them to inspire corporate worship. They
combine up-beat songs of praise, passionate and lyrical ballads,
and popular worship songs in order to bring others into God's
presence.
2 or More has a unique sound that stems from a love for all
kinds of music. Their influences are as diverse as pop/urban
music to contemporary country. Their incredible vocal talents
and ability to blend as one voice gives them the sound that causes
listeners to say, "Wow." They also write most
of their own material, learning songs "as they go" without
written music. Relying on each other to compose and perfect
their music has greatly encouraged their growth as a trio and
as Christian sisters.
Jesus said, "For where [2 or More] are gathered together in
my name, I am there in the midst of them" (Matthew 18:20
NKJV). This verse is 2 or More's inspiration as they travel
and perform. Their mission is to serve God through their music. Through
spirited praise, inspired lyrics and passionate vocals, they seek
to spend time in God’s presence, touch people in a personal
way, facilitate the fellowship of believers, and point the lost
to Christ.
